Background

I’m a mechanical engineer, 44 years old and have more than 19 years of experience with mechanical engineering, project management and technical IT. Since 1998 I have been a web programmer in my spare time and have for three years been developing industrial web-applications on a full time basis. I’m able to work 10-20 hours per week in my spare time as a freelance web programmer.

Pricing

I take a hourly rate of 200,- DKK + VAT for programming time and consulting. Fee for transportation by car to and from customer meetings is according to the Danish tax rules.

Technology

The software environment is PHP and MySQL and Javascript, XML and CSS is of course used. All design is according to the newest W3C web standards.

Industrial applications

For industrial use webbased systems for surveillance, control and data collection can be designed and implemented. By connecting micro controllers and different kind of electronic modules to a local ethernet network, a browser is used to view the status and control the electronics. Use of RFID technology opens up a new range of applications.
